Terms of Service

Loreweaver (“we”, “us”) is a web application at loreweaver.net that helps you create characters for tabletop role-playing games. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions: support@loreweaver.net.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Loreweaver. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, abuse the service, or attempt to defraud it; where reasonable we will warn you first.

Some features require a paid subscription, billed monthly or annually through our payment provider, Stripe, at the price shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal (Subscribe page → Manage subscription); cancellation stops future renewals and your access continues to the end of the period already paid for.

A free trial, where offered, applies to your first subscription only. If you cancel during the trial you will not be charged.

Prices may change; we will tell you before a change affects a renewal you have not yet agreed to.

If you are a consumer in the UK, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of starting a paid subscription and receive a refund. By starting the subscription you ask us to supply the service during that period; if you cancel within the 14 days after having used the service, we may reduce the refund proportionately to the service already supplied. To exercise this right, contact support@loreweaver.net within the 14-day period.

You own what you bring: the descriptions, answers, names, and ideas you enter, and you grant us the licence needed to store and process them to run the service. Character sheets generated for you are yours to use in your games.

We own the service: the software, design, and branding. Game rules content is derived from the System Reference Document 5.1 by Wizards of the Coast LLC, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence. Loreweaver is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.

• Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Don't use automation to farm free generations or circumvent limits.
• Don't use the service to create content that is unlawful.

Loreweaver is provided as-is; we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and generated content may contain mistakes — check anything that matters. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence). Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these terms; we will revise the “last updated” date above, and material changes will be flagged in the app. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — though if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also rely on your local courts and consumer protections.
